Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my incredible husband JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. My followers are mostly on my Instagram account @annephung. In this blog, I will share my tale of highs, lows and everything in-between. In 1990 I moved to America together with my parents and brother when I turned one and a half. Without my parents' love of dedication and hard work it is likely that I would not be with you sharing my journey. To give them a chance at a more prosperous future, I focused on success and worked hard to achieve it. My life was set out as follows: I'd study at university, land a job in a corporation, marry and buy an apartment. I believed that this was the epitome of success but life was not so sure to demonstrate what it meant to be successful. In 2013 I found myself looking forward to going back to work. job because the pay and prestige was not bringing me joyand I was feeling as if I had wasted my time to earn a living even though I knew I had a destiny. While navigating my way to a new direction in my career, I found that I was meant to become a personal trainer. I loved working out, I liked having fun, and I love helping others. This year I will celebrate my 7th anniversary. In 2014, I started my own business. There are few Asian women in the industry. As coach, my mission is to inspire others to lead a healthy and happy life by creating viable lifestyles that are suited to every person's individual needs and desires. Additionally, I want to encourage individuals to follow their goals and achieve all they wish to do in their life. As my career was taking off, I suffered the most devastating loss in my entire life to datein the death of my mom. In Heaven she now rests following an eight-year fight against the disease known as Scleroderma. But I still carry my Mom with me and dream of her daily. The lessons we learn from life often go unnoticed, but they can be highly valuable. The death of my mother affected me greatly and I believe she gave me another chance to live my life. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. The time was right to go on into her new chapter, and my chance to live one that was meaningful and enjoyable. What I'm experiencing now at the age of 30 is a feeling of aliveness and awareness. It's as if that I'm living my life, instead of just being. My story is made available to you so that I can talk about my experience and thoughts. It will allow you to feel secure knowing that you're not the only one. You're capable of getting anything you'd like in your life. Therapy is necessary and normal. Health is the best riches. As death is all that we can have I want you to enjoy the rest of your days and live without regrets.
